Sarah is a creative talent and has a passion for what she does. This manifests itself in a very high work ethic – she will always go the extra mile. She has an incredible spatial awareness and puts herself in your shoes to help find the optimal tailored solution to fit your family’s needs, with a healthy dose of comfort and style. She is a positive force, solution-oriented and a pleasure to work with.
When I first met Sarah I was unsure if our styles were compatible. I need never have worried – Sarah is a great listener, encouraged and worked with our ideas, and concentrated on what I as the client liked. She had some wonderful input, with an eye for the best use of space, and we worked together to achieve the final desired style. We are thrilled with the results and would not want to work with anyone else. Through this project we have found a fabulous designer and a great friend.
Sarah and I worked together to create a sanctuary for me in the country. Our shared desire to mix urban and rural and to avoid the cliches paid off. Sarah has enormous flair, she’s insightful and understands her clients impeccably. I now consider myself to be inseparable from Sarah in all design matters! – we just ‘get each other’ so I’ll always trust her. I will happily provide personal references for Sarah to any potential clients.
Our farmhouse underwent a complete refurbishment. Sarah Allchorn and her Style Infusion team did a splendid job coordinating the work, and Sarah’s outstanding ability to create new layouts to achieve a flow not apparent in the original building has created a light-filled home. The result speaks for itself — a characteristic listed Cotswold farmhouse with an interior that blends modernity with respect for tradition. Especially pleasing is that each of the six new bedrooms, and their adjoining bathrooms, has its own very characteristic distinctiveness. The brief was that each room throughout the property should have its own unique look; we wanted to avoid the repetitive feel that often lets down so many renovations nowadays. It’s always tempting for owners to imagine they can do everything themselves (for a while we thought so) but the reality is that the accumulated experience of a professional interior designer is invaluable.
Having been in the property business for a number of years, I had worked with interior designers previously. I found Sarah very easy to work with and very professional. The property was dated and required redevelopment in order to achieve a sale. Final ideas were a collaboration and I was very impressed with the final results – Sarah turned the property around into a modern and extremely attractive home, making it much easier to sell. Her soft, Swedish style has a lovely feel. I very much enjoyed working with Sarah – she does infuse style.
Style Infusion brings a real dynamism to interior design with the principal, Sarah Allchorn’s positive and charming approach. Sarah’s ability to focus in a way which immediately puts the client at ease is, in our view, incredibly important. This attribute combined with a rare skill, understanding and working constructively with the client’s brief, provides a sound platform to plan creatively. Sarah’s encyclopaedic knowledge of the industry is second to none which is of enormous benefit in recommending and sourcing solutions. Her flair and creative design ability range right across the interior design spectrum from fabrics, textures, paint, wallpaper to lighting. From space planning to furniture sourcing, making and reupholstering. She’s a great “team player” too, from creating refurbishments to “refreshing” tired spaces. For us, she brought motivation, a touch of humour and an important design dimension in making our house a home. We would unhesitatingly recommend Style Infusion.
